“I was always the chubby kid of the family which wasn’t a large problem. When I got into college the freshman 15 took its impact, second year I started working out and lost a bit of weight, looked good, left good but was still chubby. Things changed though in the last year of school, due to the demanding schedule and stress followed by the post graduation sedentary lifestyle that comes with being unemployed. My weight jumped to an all time high of 250 pounds. Being 5’6” this was a problem.

Working with Rob did more than take my weight from an unhealthy high to an all time low (currently 170 lb, a delta of 80 pounds). Rob’s program directions towards better eating and also a change in mind set that weight loss should not solely be my ultimate goal in his training. Weight loss does happen, and noticeably, but the main goal my case was an overall improvement in health. Weight will fluctuate due to all sorts of factors but the increased speed, stamina and feeling of wellbeing is something I have over all my “forever skinny” friends. Believe me, there is no better feeling after an all day hiking trip than to be skipping up the hill while all your fit friends all huffing and puffing behind you.”
